It works completely autonomously with the help of sensors (temperature, relative humidity and Co2). The entire system requires a breakthrough of an external load-bearing wall with a diameter of 250 mm (2x: 1x for fresh air supply and 1x for exhaust “exhaust” exhaust with CO2 and viruses and bacteria). Installation of the cover (ceiling distribution) – air supply by blowing air into the room and releasing air to the outside environment.
If necessary, the system is upgraded with an additional air heater.
As the name suggests, the device is freestanding and requires only minor construction work. It only needs a floor area of 440 mm x 560 mm for installation. The entire system is suitable for rooms up to 500m3 (offices, classrooms, meeting rooms, libraries …) and with the same efficiency is cheaper than the ceiling version.

Recuperative ventilation ensures an optimal microclimate in the room, as the air is always fresh, and the result of recuperative ventilation is a room free of odors, excessive moisture, and consequently mold. Recuperative ventilation is also recommended for allergy sufferers and people with respiratory disorders, as appropriate filters ensure that pollen and pm10 particles do not enter the room (in winter).
Recuperative ventilation also saves energy, as opening windows is no longer necessary, which further contributes to burglary security.
For a healthy and pleasant stay, a humidity of 45 to 55% is recommended. In winter, during the heating period, it can be as high as 30%. Too dry air is unpleasant, as it irritates us, forces us to cough, and can also be dangerous for certain groups of people – especially lung patients and infants and young children. The other extreme is too high a percentage of humidity, above 60%, when we start to develop mold on interior surfaces.
Recuperator maintenance only requires filter replacement. The replacement interval depends on the application, filter type, and air pollution.
